Kelly Brown is an established Grand Rapids young leader, writer, fitness instructor, and marketer.
Kelly is the Integrator & Director of Operations & Marketing for Green Giftz in West Michigan, Barre Instructor at Grand Rapids City Parks & Recreation, Strength Coach at Spoke Cycle & Strength, Host of CreativeMornings Grand Rapids, and Varsity Competitive Cheer Coach at Rockford High School.
She is currently a staff writer for Revue Magazine. Her areas of interest include beer, food, wine, and fitness. Her non-fiction has been featured in Traverse Magazine, Grand Traverse Woman, MyNorth.com, Solace Magazine and Holl and Lane Magazine. Her short fiction has been published online at Gone Lawn, Talking Soup, and featured in The 3288 Review, Brazenhead Review, and elsewhere.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing and English at Grand Valley State University. She is a 2022 Rising Star with PPB and was a 2021 “Emerging Leader” nominee for the West Michigan Woman Brilliance Awards. She has given talks at GVSU, the Facilisgroup Partners Conference and been featured on WZZM 13.
When not working, Kelly competes in local CrossFit competitions, studies birds (mostly chickens), drinks beer & wine and dives into a good true crime podcast while folding laundry.
